Treatment Room
The treatment room nurses perform a range of procedures, including ear syringing, injections, blood pressure monitoring, and wound dressings.
The practice operates a waiting list system for some services. Patients may be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted as soon as an appointment becomes available. Please note this lists can vary in wait times.
Treatment room services that can be booked via reception:
- Wound Care: Complex ulcer/wound management, suture/staple removal, and post-operative dressing changes.
Treatment room services that can be requested by a clinician:
- Irrigation and safe wax removal (usually requiring a prior clinician approval)
- 12 lead ECG- Non-urgent, Adults only
- Ambulatory. Home Blood Pressure monitoring
- Ring pessary insertion and removal
- ABPI test via Doppler
