How to book appointment for your blood test.
If you are asked to get a blood test, you need to make an appointment for it.
Please visit the Princess Alexandra Hospital website https://www.swiftqueue.co.uk/pah.php to book your appointment.
Test Locations:
Booking appointment via telephone.
If you cannot book online, you can call on the number 01279 827 163 and book your appointment for your blood test.
Please note: You do not need a paper request form for your blood tests anymore, your clinician will send the details of your requested tests electronically.
The facility for children’s blood tests is only available at Princess Alexandra Hospital Harlow.
For X-rays, you need neither an appointment or request form, and you can walk in radiology department and get it done once your doctor has requested it on the system.
Your Test Results
You can now see your test results on the NHS App once your doctor or clinician has reviewed them.
After you’ve logged into the app:
You’ll be able to view your results and any comments your doctor or clinician has added. If your results require any follow-up or action, the practice will contact you by telephone or text message. You may also receive a message asking you to call the surgery. Please telephone after 10:00am, when our phone lines are less busy.
If you have not heard from us and cannot access the NHS App, please contact the surgery (the best way to contact surgery is via E consult) after one week of your test. Most results are available within this time, although some specialist tests may take longer.
